- Two separate services, "at the clinic" and "at home". They share neither duration nor price, and they should not share slots.

What do you need to practise as an occupational therapist in the UK?
Statutory registration. "Occupational therapist" is a protected title: you must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, and using the title without registration is a criminal offence. Registration requires an approved degree, CPD, and compliance with the HCPC standards, with a fitness-to-practise jurisdiction behind it; the Royal College of Occupational Therapists provides professional guidance and, through its specialist sections, the standards for housing adaptations and moving-and-handling assessments. If you deliver personal care as part of a service, check whether the activity is a regulated activity requiring Care Quality Commission registration, and if you work with children or vulnerable adults, an enhanced DBS check applies.
