Booking software for Naturopaths
The first consultation is two hours, the follow-up one: the diary knows it, and the intake form is filled in before anyone sits down.

The challenges facing naturopaths
The first consultation and the follow-up are not the same length
Two hours against one. A single slot length overruns the first appointments and wastes the second.
The lifestyle questionnaire
Sent by email, half completed, often forgotten. You spend the first fifteen minutes redoing it out loud.
Video and in-person consultations
Two ways of working, two different sets of availability, and a client who does not know which one they booked.
The follow-up that stops after two sessions
The protocol calls for four. Without a prompt, half of them stop on the way.

Practical guide: Naturopaths
- Two separate services, first consultation and follow-up, with two durations and two prices. That is the setting that structures the day.
- Put the questionnaire in required fields at booking: it gets filled in while the person is motivated.
- Create a "video consultation" service of its own, with its own slots.
- Offer the next appointment at the end of the session: recurrence is won there, not in a follow-up call.
- Fifteen minutes of buffer after a first consultation: the summary gets written while it is fresh, not in the evening.
Frequently asked questions
Can I have a questionnaire completed before the consultation?
Yes, with required custom fields.
How do I handle video consultations?
As a separate service. The link is created automatically.
Can I have different hours by service?
Yes, each service carries its own availability.
Is health data protected?
Yes. Nothing is read, nothing trains a model, and you remain the controller of your clients' data.
What can a naturopath do and say in the UK?
Naturopathy is not a regulated profession here: no licence, no protected title, and registration with the General Naturopathic Council or the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council is voluntary, though insurers ask for it. The real boundaries are three. You may not offer diagnosis, and you must not advise anyone to stop prescribed medication — doing so is where negligence claims come from. Section 4 of the Cancer Act 1939 makes advertising any offer to treat cancer a criminal offence. And if you recommend or supply supplements, the Nutrition and Health Claims Regulation limits what may be said about them, while herbal products fall under the Human Medicines Regulations 2012, which restrict what an unregistered practitioner may prepare and supply.
