Booking software for Kinesiologists
An hour-long session, the next one three to six weeks later, and a reminder without which the follow-up evaporates in between.

The challenges facing kinesiologists
Three to six weeks between sessions
The spacing is what does the work, and it is also what makes the appointment get forgotten. A follow-up that stops at session two has helped nobody.
The reason for the visit gets collected beforehand
What brings someone to kinesiology is told badly at the start of a session and very well in a form, the night before, calmly. Twenty minutes gained, and a first appointment that starts in the right place.
Word of mouth books in the evening
Someone mentions you at 9pm and the person looks up your name straight away. If they find a phone number, they might call tomorrow.
A full hour, with no overrun
The session takes as long as it takes, and it does not get cut short. A slot cut fine leaves the next person in the corridor.
The follow-up gets read from one session to the next
Six weeks on, what was worked on is no longer fresh. Without history on the record, the session starts again instead of continuing.

Practical guide: Kinesiologists
- A reminder the night before, every time. On sessions six weeks apart, that is what holds the follow-up.
- An optional "what brings you" field at booking: the first session starts twenty minutes further on.
- The booking page open at night. That is where word of mouth lands.
- An honest session duration, talking time included. Better to say 1h15 and finish on time.
- A note on the record after each session: at six weeks' distance, memory is not enough.
- Offer the next appointment before the person leaves. It is the only moment when the date is easy to find.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a kinesiology session cost?
Around £50 to £90 for a first session of an hour or more, and £45 to £75 for a follow-up. Set your own prices.
Is the title of kinesiologist regulated in the UK?
No, and there is a name clash worth knowing about. Kinesiology in the complementary sense — muscle testing — is unregulated: no licence, no protected title. The Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council holds a kinesiology category on its Accredited Register, and the Kinesiology Federation and the Kinesiology Association set standards; registration is voluntary but is what insurers ask for. Be aware that "kinesiology" also names an academic discipline in human movement science, and that "physiotherapist" is a title protected by law and restricted to those registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. Do not use it, and do not offer diagnosis or advise anyone to stop prescribed treatment.
Can I collect the reason for the visit beforehand?
Yes, with a custom field at booking.
How do I stop a follow-up breaking off?
By booking the next session at the end of each one, and with a reminder.
Can I be booked outside my opening hours?
Yes. The page takes bookings day and night for the slots you have opened.
Where do I find what was done last time?
In the client record, with the notes you added.
