Booking software for Reiki practitioners
Your sessions get booked without a phone call, at a distance as well as in person, and the reminder goes out the night before without you thinking about it.

The challenges facing reiki practitioners
Distance and in-person sessions
Two ways of working that share neither duration nor slots, and a client who confuses the two.
A job you have to explain before you can sell it
The first contact happens on the phone, at length, and it does not always come to anything.
Evening appointments
That is when people are free. It is also when you do not want to answer the phone.
Packages of three sessions
They are what produces the result, but they sell badly when every session gets renegotiated.

Practical guide: Reiki practitioners
- Two services: "in person" and "at a distance". They do not share slots or durations.
- A "what brings you" field at booking replaces half the first phone call.
- Open evening slots and close the phone: the booking page works for you.
- The package of three booked in one go on recurrence, same day and time.
- A reminder the night before, by email or SMS: it halves the forgetting.
Frequently asked questions
Can I offer distance sessions?
Yes, as a separate service, paid at booking.
How do I sell a package of several sessions?
By booking the dates in one go, or by selling the package and attaching it to the record.
Do my clients need an account?
No. A name, an email and it is done.
Can I close certain days?
Yes, with an unavailability.
Is reiki regulated in the UK, and what may I claim?
Reiki is not regulated: no licence, no protected title, no required qualification. The Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council holds a reiki category on its Accredited Register, and the Reiki Council coordinates the professional associations; registration is voluntary but is what insurers and hospices ask for. On claims, be careful. Section 4 of the Cancer Act 1939 makes it a criminal offence to advertise an offer to treat cancer, and the Advertising Standards Authority has ruled that reiki may not be advertised as treating medical conditions. Describing relaxation and wellbeing is safe; describing cures is not.
