The problem

Taking money online creates a lag. The money is paid on one day, available on another, paid out on a third. With no sight of those three moments, you do not know whether what you see in your bank account matches what you sold.

The reflex is to go and check in the payment tool, which speaks its own language: gross amounts, pending, reserved, fees. It is not built to answer the question “has last week arrived?”.

An overview inside the tool you already work in saves the round trip and the translation.

How it works in Kagenda

Kagenda queries your connected Stripe account and shows its state on the payments page.

  1. The available balanceWhat can go out to your bank, as opposed to what is still being processed.
  2. The pending amountsPayments taken but not yet available, with the lag specific to your account.
  3. The next payoutsWhat is scheduled to your bank account and when, so you can reconcile easily against your statement.
  4. Outstanding Stripe requirementsIf Stripe asks for a document or a piece of information, the alert appears here — before payments seize up.

Frequently asked questions

Are these Stripe's figures?

Yes, they are read directly from your connected account. Kagenda does not keep its own books alongside, which avoids two versions of the truth drifting apart.

Why is my available balance lower than what I have taken?

Part of the payments are still pending, and Stripe's fees are deducted. The breakdown transaction by transaction is in your Stripe dashboard.

Can I trigger a payout from Kagenda?

No, payouts are steered from Stripe. Kagenda shows the state; the Stripe dashboard is where you act.
